Top 10 Eats: Magic Kingdom

Whether it’s your first time to Magic Kingdom or 50th, there’s always something new to discover at Walt Disney World, especially when it comes to food! Travel Designer Kayla Castro and I recently went over our top 10 eats at Magic Kingdom that we think you should give a try on your next visit!

1. Liberty Tree Tavern

Step back in time when you head to Liberty Tree Tavern. This cozy restaurant is the perfect place to beat the heat (or rain) and eat a hearty Thanksgiving style feast. Enough to share for the whole family. Located in Liberty Square.

2. Casey’s Corner

Casey’s Corner is known for their nostalgic atmosphere (think Americana baseball games) with lots of guilty pleasures. Located on Main Street, they are best known for their foot long Chicago style hot dogs!

3. Be Our Guest

Be Our Guest is the perfect place for the Beauty and the Beast Lover. The atmosphere validates the price as you feel like you are right there in Beast’s castle. Serving lunch and dinner, menu items may include beef tenderloin, pan seared chicken breast and macaroni and cheese. Don’t forget to try the Grey Stuff, it’s delicious! Reservations are highly recommended. Located in Fantasyland.

4. Gaston’s Tavern

Right in the heart of Fantasyland, lies Gaston’s Tavern. Their warm cinnamon rolls is what keeps visitors coming back for more! Tip from one of our followers, ask for extra icing…yum!

5. Pecos Bill

Show up early for a seat here, because Pecos Bill, although small in sit down dining opportunities, it has the best nachos in the west…errr..east. Menu items include fajitas, nachos and bacon cheeseburgers. Fan favorite: The Walking Taco: Seasoned Ground Beef, Yellow Rice, Black Beans, Cheddar, Jalapeño, Tomato, Sour Cream, and Corn Chips served in a Bag. Mobile ordering is available. Located in Frontierland.

6. The Carts

Seriously, any of the carts you can find Disney treat staples such as Mickey Bars, Frozen Lemonade, Pretzels and more. During summer they melt fast though, so eat like the wind! Haha!

7. Cosmic Rays

Best known for their burgers, Cosmic Rays can be found in Tomorrowland. Our favorite, the 1971 Meal—Barbecue Chicken Sandwich meal—- topped with Kale Slaw served with Walt’s Chili & Cheese Fries, Fountain Beverage and a 50th Anniversary Themed Cake Pop. Yummy!

8. Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is tucked away in Liberty Square where you’ll find the most delicious breakfast and snacks including Mickey waffles, funnel cake and our fav the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich–Served with Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, to die for!!!

9. The Friar’s Nook

Inspired by Robin Hood, the Friar’s Nook serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some menu items include American favorites including our top pick, the Creamy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Tots! Located in Fantasyland.

10. Aloha Isle

And our final pick is purely for our favorite treat of all…Dole Whips. This is probably the top treat sold at Disney Parks (don’t fact check that, pure speculation, haha), but for good reason! Aloha Isle offers the traditional Dole Whip along with a variety of different choices! You can find this gem in Adventureland.
