With travel to the Orlando area increasing, we are excited to see the updates and reopening of more resorts and facilities in the news this week.
Fireworks are Returning
Without a doubt, the most exciting news this week from Disney is the return of fireworks to the theme parks. From July 1st, you’ll be able to watch Happily Ever After in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Forever in Epcot each night. Following this announcement, park hours have been extended once again to accommodate the shows. However, no special fireworks are expected for July 4th this year.
The Return of the Single Rider Line
Whether you are traveling alone or just looking to skip the long wait for some of the most popular attractions, the single rider line is one of the best ways to cut your wait times down. Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World have both announced this week that the single rider line is returning, allowing you to maximize your time in the parks.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Reopening
Animal Kingdom Lodge is finally welcoming back all guests from August 26th. While the Disney Vacation Club rooms have been open since last summer, you can now book a standard room for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. We are still waiting to hear if the resort’s restaurants, Boma and Jiko, will reopen on the same date.
Increased Availability in July
Walt Disney World’s park passes were replenished this week once again for visits in July. If you’ve been struggling to find a reservation day previously, take a look again, as you may be in luck now.
We can’t wait to see the fireworks return to the parks next month and are excited to see what announcements are made in the upcoming weeks from the Orlando area theme parks.
