Bouncing from buffet restaurants and food carts at Walt Disney World might seem like the easiest way to grab some food in between rides. However, at some point during your Disney World vacation, you are going to want to experience a true sit-down meal at a fabulous restaurant. Not only will it give you a chance to indulge in some amazing foods, it will allow you to relax and relive some of the fantastic memories you have made so far.
Top 5 Table Service Restaurants at Walt Disney World
1. Victoria & Albert’s
Victoria & Albert’s can be found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and diners must be at least ten years old to eat there. This intimate dining experience is considered one of the best options in Disney World, so be prepared for an extraordinary experience from the moment you are seated until your dessert dishes are removed at the end. The menu rotates regularly and if you want a true luxury dining experience, you must book a seat at the Chef’s Table. It is at that table where you can indulge in a thirteen-course meal.
2. The Boathouse
The Boathouse is down in Disney Springs, so you will need to plan ahead if you want to grab a meal there in between the rides. This is the best option if you spend a day outside the theme parks and choose to explore the Boardwalk and Disney Springs instead. You will find many classic dishes at this table service restaurant, but make sure you save room for the s’mores baked Alaska. This massive dessert should never be excluded, and it is best shared by everyone at the table.
3. California Grill
The California Grill is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and it has a much more relaxed setting than Victoria & Albert’s. Sitting out on the balcony is recommended, so you have gorgeous views throughout your dining experience. Everyone in your group will love the options at this table service restaurant. A few options include pizza, seafood, sushi, and beef cooked to perfection. The best part about this restaurant is fantastic fireworks view if you time your dinner just right.
4. 1900 Park Fare
1900 Park Fare is at the Grand Floridian Resort and you will see many different Disney characters throughout your meal. While this is a buffet restaurant, you will love how Mary Poppins or Alice and Friends may wander through the dining room and stop at each table.
5. Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern is a wonderful table service restaurant option when you are wandering around the Magic Kingdom. This restaurant has numerous comfort food options, but it is known for its turkey dinners.
