Brendan Cook

Hi there! I’m Brendan Wright from Dallas, TX. I live with my husband, Tim, and our two kids - Zach & Zoe. Travel has been an obsession of mine for years and I am so fortunate I now get to work my dream everyday. I spent years as an award winning interior design professional, but when I began traveling regularly a few years ago, I quickly realized it was my calling - to help find magic in travel! I am excited to be working with Briar & Main Travel Boutique to bring that magic into my clients' lives using my extensive knowledge of Disney & Universal. Also, for my brides and grooms to be, I’ll help plan the most unforgettable destination wedding. 

My passion for planning the perfect trip borders on obsessive as I not only help with the overall trip, but pay attention to the details that make a trip extraordinary. I’ve had the fortune to see some amazing places and know first hand the impact professional planning has on your travel experience. Whether you are flying private, economy or road tripping it, I can’t wait to help bring you the same joy and excitement I’ve had traveling. 


 


 

My Story

I went to Disney for the first time in October of 2019. As a lifelong Disney fan, I dreamed of going to the parks my entire life. Even before going, I knew more about the parks and their history than most who visit them regularly. When the opportunity came to make that dream come true, that first trip to Disney World unlocked something in me that is hard to describe unless you experience it yourself. My LOVE for Disney grew exponentially the instant I walked through the gates and continues to grow. Universal is a more recent fixation that I can't get enough of!

We planned a trip in 2020 that unfortunately was postponed, but that gave me the inspiration to bring a little bit of Disney to our home by doing a Haunted Mansion themed Halloween display that year. It was what everyone needed during that difficult year. It became (and every Halloween still is) a destination in itself. People regularly leave thank you cards or words of appreciation and each year my family works tirelessly to show friends and neighbors our shared love of all things Disney. We even caught the attention of the Kelly Clarkson show and had a feature in 2021. 

Between seeing our kid’s faces when they first see Mickey or seeing a neighborhood child’s face when he sees our “Hitchhiking Ghosts” during Halloween, Disney has unlocked my inner “Disney adult” forever and always.
