Top Universal Orlando Resorts

Universal Orlando has really expanded over the years! What began as one theme park has blossomed into two theme parks, a water park, and the infamous City Walk. To offer even more to their guests, Universal Orlando has opened seven incredible resorts with at least one more planned for the future.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort

The Cabana Bay Beach Resort offers a retro ambiance, which is perfect for family vacations. When you stay in your two-room family suite with a kitchenette, you will have access to two pools, a bowling alley, and a lazy river. Guests of this resort have their own entrance to the water park and a shuttle is available to the theme parks. You can also walk down a path to the theme parks and the walk only takes approximately fifteen minutes.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort

This resort will transport you back to the thirties, while you have views of the theme parks from your room. There is so much to do at this resort, so you can spend a couple days chilling in between time on the rides. Plus, at night, you can relax at the dive in movies at the pool. The theme parks can be reached via water taxi from this resort, but you can also walk along the path if you do not want to wait in line.

Hard Rock Hotel Universal Orlando

Rock and roll is everywhere at this Universal Resort. Music memorabilia is everywhere, so plan on getting distracted as you wander around. One minute, you will be looking at the booth where Elvis recorded his first song, while the next, you will be looking at the love seat that John Lennon used to write many of his hits. You might want to plan your stay accordingly, because once a month there is a Velvet Sessions rock concert.

Universal’s Aventura Hotel

This is one of the newer Universal resorts and it is also the smallest. This simple and modern hotel has a compact design, so you won’t be walking miles down the hall after a long day at the park. There is a pool, but it is much smaller than the other resorts on site. Basically, you will want to choose this resort if you are spending most of your time at the parks, since they are quite close.

These are the best Universal Resorts, but you will love any of them during a vacation in Orlando. If you are planning on spending a lot of time at the Universal theme parks and water park, these resorts will make your visit even better.
